After catching the hospitality bug from helping at my family’s restaurant in Johannesburg, I decided to formalise my hospitality education and graduated from the Swiss Hotel School after an amazing two years, then made my way to London.
I gained experience in various Front Office roles across multiple hotels, working my way up the ranks from Duty Management and Front Office Manager to Rooms Division Manager.
I was then offered the opportunity to manage a successful opening as Operations Manager, and due to its success, was promoted to General Manager within the PPHE Hotel Group.
I am now in my third General Manager role within the same company, at a much more complex operation that also includes managing the construction of a second hotel, making me a multi-site General Manager.
